I'm including this in Designer News because this has many design implications. Usage of HTML5's contenteditable is seemingly rather little in day to day websites.
Looks good. Any plans to add contextual styling buttons on highlight?
That is a separate function/idea completely. Take a look at the great http://zenpen.io/, it's open source
This is awesome, thank you for creating it. I've seen you've taken care of how content with format is pasted with ctrl/cmd+V but it doesn't work well via with click+paste as you can see on this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/kYn5hld.png (top is pasted via keyboard, bottom is pasted via mouse)
But still, I like it a lot, thanks again.
Great catch, thanks mate, cheers!
Very nicely done. Are there any plans to bind the rich text features to a button (so you could have a bold button that selects/deselects)?
Reference the "Common Questions" section. If you're looking to add support for that, you can easily include somethingling like https://github.com/tholman/zenpen for that!
Awesome work as always Jake!
Thanks, I appreciate it! :D
