Apple's March event (apple.com)

While I'm excited about this event, I feel like a lot of the magic of these events is lost. I think I already know 90% of the what the Keynote could possibly be about. The Keynote's from 2005 seemed to have a lot more build up and surprises. I'm not sure if it's a result of being more plugged in to the community or Apple's openness. It will be a surprise if i'm surprised by anything at this event; But I will be watching.
Why do you think this is? Is it because you (and by extension, many of us Apple nerds) are following rumor sites? These weren't as prevalent and widespread 10 years ago, nor was Apple as heavily covered in the press.
It's probably a combination of all of those. 10 years ago, very few cared about Apple so these events were the primary source of information. Today, people are hacking, decompiling, reverse engineering software, stealing devices from production facilities and doing almost whatever it takes just to find the latest scoop in hopes that they'll discover the next "iPhone". Visibility on the company definitely plays a huge part.
Go on, tell us the 90% then, Mr Know-It-All.
and i know the rest 10% :)
Apple watch with a headphone jack.
It just works.
I liked that part too
"loop you in"
Hyperloop?
Milanese loop?
1 Infinite Loop?
That's a pretty good tease to get us speculating.
The only product to which "loop" may be relevant is Apple Watch (in that it loops around your wrist) so it's possibly more strap designs for that, maybe even an announcement of a new Watch entirely. Alternatively it could an entirely new product because I really don't see anything else they do pertaining to "loops". Colors are probably significant too but my dumb ass can't work out why/how.
Edit:Just seen this. I could be wrong but I thought they announced new iPhones/iPads at WWDC, or at least later in the year? It seems a bit soon after the 6S to announce any new iPhones.
Fully expecting a 4inch iPhone6, which is what I've been waiting for. The iPhone 5 for me was the best designed phone for years, I'd go back to it in a second if it had the functionality and processing power of the 6 series.
I'd like that too. I currently have a 5C which I'm happy with, and really I have no motivation at all to get a 6/6 Plus because I just don't need a phone bigger than that. Something new in that size would be really great.
I assumed it was just apple being lazy/out of touch in letting cheesy office lingo make it to the front page. But yeah, it's possible that it's a tease of what's to come.
Will be filled with fun and vibrance if the colour scheme is anything to go by...
Gold and Rose Gold Apple Watch models. Calling it.
Those already exist though: http://www.apple.com/shop/buy-watch/apple-watch-edition
Huh, I've been living under a rock. Just shows how much I don't care for the Watch.
Not sure why apostrophe(') got missed. Moderators please add :)
Done :)
