STOKED!
This is rad, thanks for putting this together, Maxwell!
I've been thinking of making a website that curates specifically Designer News Meetups. Making it easy for people in cities like Portland, New York, London, etc Do y'all think it'd be useful?
Something we've been working on internally too! :) ...if you have some initial thoughts/ideas, I'd love to hear them, send me an email: max@designernews.co
I will be there with bells on—ALL OF THE BELLS!
Couple quick updates! —

Questions / Feedback / Other
Send it my way! :) --- max@designernews.co. Excited to see everyone!
Come to Toronto instead <3
Best time of year to come to Toronto? :)
Always? I think business-related things tend to wind down during the summer, so that might get the fewest people too busy to attend. As far as I know, meetup events happen pretty consistently throughout the year.
If you're really serious about it, you should look into using OCAD's (Ontario College of Art and Design) space. It's a really nice building and is in central downtown Toronto, plus I'm sure they'd love to host you.
Added to our list... thanks for the feedback!
Dam, i can't make it. Would it be possible to have two events this year? One on london?
Fret not, plenty more Meetups planned for 2016.
