And the whole fiasco repeats itself again.
When will these people learn. Never copy-paste logos for high-profile projects :)))
At least this time the allegedly copied logo is far superior to its source of inspiration.
In 2016 it's almost impossible to be original. So much has come before..
The new one is better than the original in my opinion :-)
Just because something similar exists, doesn't mean it was copied. (:
I know what they are trying to do, but I can't help and see "21"
All I see is the "4" eyes are crazy
Whatever your opinion I'm not looking forward to the soon to be expected 'suggestions' or 'I would do it like this' posts.
London 2012 made me scream at my screen when people chipped in with their ideas and suggestions. This was a logo of controversy but it was memorable and different.
To me Paris '24 is elegant, simple and very French. Give it a couple of days and someone will put together a logo inspired by the metro signage or some other equally rinsed cliché.
Pleasantly surprised! Paris 2024 got the best Olympic logo in decades. Olympic logo's had this nack to be design-by-committee disasters, much like say... Euro Songfestival ;)
Eiffel Tower and 24. Yawn.
