    Ok, harsh but fair criticism:

50% off nothing is nothing. What is Division bringing to the table? What's the driving idea behind it? What's the mission? If you want people on board you need to sell them something.

Agree. I find it hard to get excited due to the lack of... well, nothing :) is there any screenshots or something that you could put up?

I don’t find this harsh. Without giving much detail, quite a few people have already subscribed and expressed interest. I was hoping to answer questions here anyway.

What’s the driving idea behind it?

From the many design tools I’ve tried, they all compose a visual mockup but not a real structure as the implementation would do. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if it didn’t affect my design process. These tools are dumb! They are not aware of the content that you put in. If you add text to a container, it should make it grow, it should scroll if there’s a height limit. If you want to have an image on the background of your container, you shouldn’t need to create a mask, etc.

      What’s the mission?

From what I said above, it disappoints me that this is the same state we are replicating and bringing to touch screens. With the advent of powerful touch devices like the iPad Pro, we should really seize the touch capabilities and make it practical to design complex interfaces.

Have you tried out Antetype? It's approaching design with a more structural, responsive system but I would love for it to have some competitors.

If you have tried it, I would love to hear about the planned/anticipated differentiators.

Fair yet, a detail that is worth highlighting is the one-liner:

Research for the modern design tool has begun.

The word research by itself makes me optimistic because it means Division is not only looking for validation but also giving its target audience to evolve the idea from the get-go.
