Sketch folder missing from iCloud Drive after OS X re-install

5 years ago from , UX/UI Designer at DevCongress, BoughtSpot

I recently decided to update to the latest El Capitan update after it was released last Monday. After being unsuccessful (and having to format my drive to be able to re-install Yosemite), I restored with my Time Machine backup. But I couldn't find my Sketch files in my iCloud Drive anymore. Obviously, I've got some client work which is due soon, and that makes me more worried.

Has anyone come across this issue, and how did they solve it?

*UPDATE: * I found this, https://discussions.apple.com/message/16398046#16398046, and it has helped me recover my files from the Time Machine drive. :-)

    Hey Claude,

I didn't had any problems having sketch files in my iCloud. There is one thing you can do and that is to actually login on you iCloud account and recover the files that were deleted from the iCloud.

So basically to find this option you should go www.iCloud.com after that click on settings and you will see on the bottom left recover files and after clicking that you should see something like this:

I hope this helps you with your issue.
