I now have a headache and motion sickness through a combination of scroll jacking and video content

I really wish it scrolled normally.

The scroll-jacking implemented here is extremely cumbersome. It's not fluid or accurate. Many times I would go to a section and then it would force-scroll away to another.

That aside, I feel the biggest issue this site has is that there is far too much distraction - too much motion. As I scroll, certain elements zoom in or swipe out. Even icons are moving/dancing/whirling. The result is that it's incredibly hard to focus on the site - and the content within it. You would think an agency would want a more focused presentation instead of so much excess "fluff" that distracts a user so much. Simply removing an animation or two would go a long way.

I couldn't scroll properly and felt it wasn't my fault.

The pagination doesn't make much sense. Can I have my scroll back now?

Maybe it's because I listen to a million podcasts, but I thought this would be Slate's Panoply podcast network.

That being said, scrolljacking is one thing. Scrolljacking that doesn't even work is another. It keeps scrolling me two panels. Also, the nav is a waste. I'm a bit of a hamburger apologist, but this one is inexcusable. Lots of great little animation bits, though (the hamburger button, the loading indicator, etc)

I understand why they essentially made a Powerpoint slideshow, but there was no opportunity for user engagement, content that increases user value, or information about the company/culture/events, etc. I was fine with the scroll jacking, but the whole point of the site(content) was lacking.

I didn't think the scrolling was a problem, which surprised me because I am using a trackpad. However along with what other people are saying, I would say you might try putting slow motion videos as the background for anyone getting motion sickness or headaches (which I didn't have a problem with), it also might stop the distractions. I love the site, but realized I wasn't really reading anything because the backgrounds are pretty distracting. Otherwise I think its great!
