I got a totally different experience from Alexis.
Case arrived here in Portugal pretty quickly, the case eventually broke, I sent them an email asking for a replacement, got a response in 15minutes asking for my address. Great costumer service, the case is thin, subtle, with no branding, just what I wanted. I don't usually post things about this kind of stuff but these guys impressed me.
Just curious, have you been using anything to protect the glass screen? Has yours fared well without one?
No, nothing besides the peel cover. So far no problems, but if you're a bit clumsy I suggest something stronger that adds extra protection to the phones edges.
Hey thanks for the kind words :-) Sorry about the break, but I'm glad to hear everything was resolved quickly.
Hey Marshall, it's been another month and noone's contacted her despite what you said in the other Peel sponsored thread . Even just a message to her would be great. I keep vouching for you but I don't know why at this point. It seems like a lot of people aren't satisfied with Peel's customer experience.
I didn't have a problem with Peel. Great case.
Is there anything similar like it? I've never seen anything else for sale like this before
Sorry but I had totally different experience from Alexis. Anyway, I have iPhone 6+ and I was silly enough to misclick and purchase iPhone 6s case. Contacted support like few hours after when I realised my mistake and they said they already sent case but they sent another one that fits 6+.
The case is super thin, I love having it since my previous case was really thick and couldn't charge on my docking station. Probably won't save if from a fall, but at least there will be no scratches on it.
I'm definitely getting this glass protector.
So you haven't had any scratches on your screen at all?
I'm just saying I don't have scratches on sides and back. But I want to purchase this protector to prevent those on screen.
Thanks for being a customer!
I bought a Peel case for my 6S after seeing their ads here. Took a really long time to get here, but their CEO sent an email explaining that the demand increased much faster than expected and they were having some growing pains as they scaled to match.
The wait was completely worth it. I've been totally satisfied with the case, and it looks even better on the phone than I'd hoped; most people can't tell I have a case at all.
I understand the frustration, but give them the benefit of the doubt before labeling them crooks — I think they just experienced success faster than they knew how to handle it. In all my interactions with them since, they've been a class act.
Much appreciated. You nailed it – we totally underestimated the demand for our 6s case. We were pretty backordered and overwhelmed with email questions. That's behind us though. We're now fully stocked and hired more support people to keep up. Growing pains are brutal. Things are much smoother now though :-)
Got mine right on time, the case is great! I understand some of you are waiting months, seems like they can't keep up with the demand.
We're now fully stocked. We finally got ahead of demand. So sorry about that. We're doing everything we can to make sure a backorder like that never happens again.
Those guys are crooks. They use DN to get maximum exposure, but just don't deliver.
I tried to purchase their case, 3 weeks after it was still not sent so I just had to cancel it.
They've been spamming me ever since, even after 3-4 unsubscribe attempts. Thanks guys.
While I've never had the experience of ordering a Peel case, previous DN threads had many similar complaints regarding this.
Got mine shipped in less than a day from ordering. It shipped with a hairline crack, so they sent me a free replacement that arrived within one week.
Just to say: My personal anecdote goes the other way.
Peel CEO here. I'm sorry to hear it arrive damaged, but glad to hear it gold resolved quickly!
Yep, it all turned out well!
I believe the official statement I received was "I swear they punt these packages like footballs." and then a replacement.
I've had a similar experience. I ordered mine over a month ago and, despite promises otherwise, I still haven't received it (it hasn't even shipped as of writing this). In addition, contacting anyone at the company has been difficult at best. Very unpleasant experience thus far for me.
Hey Jim, Peel CEO here. We're no longer backordered and fully stocked so it's totally not you haven't received yours yet. Can you email me your order # to firstname.lastname@example.org – I'll make sure a replacement is sent out the day after Thanksgiving.
Additionally I hired someone a couple weeks ago, and just made another hire today for our support team. We should be back to our normal reply speed of same day. I'm really sorry you had trouble getting in touch with us, the team was swamped during the backorder.
Email me and I'll make sure this is made right.
Hey Alexis, CEO of Peel here. First off I'm very sorry you had such a bad experience. During the iPhone 6S launch demand was far greater than we anticipated. We became backordered on our cases. We did our best to notify people, but our support team was buried in emails. I've now hired 2 new people so we can reply to emails much faster. Additionally we're now past that backorder hell and fully stocked up.
If I can do anything for you don't hesitate to reach out, I'm email@example.com
Ordered my case 5 weeks ago. Last week it finally started shipping.. I live in Canada and it's already gone through 9 U.S. shipping facilities. I think that is quite a bit or not?
Hopefully I will get my case by the end of this week or next week sometime.
I got peel case for me and my girlfriend one month ago, we was very pleasant until we both found it became a little bit loose in some edges, it become a little bit uncomfortable while you sometime try to hold it and it make 'click' sound over the edges, I don't know if it durable?
Still waiting for one of my peel cases to arrive... 8 weeks later.
