    This is a pretty genius recruiting tool. I wish more companies (and employees) would embrace transparency about wages and rates.

      On the flip side: showing your cards to competition can make it easier to poach people, and can make future salary negotiation more difficult for leaving employees.

        Yeah. It's definitely a double edge sword. I think if you're consistently paying people well though, you'll do well.

    I think it's pretty impressive that Buffer pays their Designers more than Developers across the board.

    Having said that I've never seen a company with higher paid designers than engineers. I wonder why Buffer is doing this.
