In case you're curious about how all of these highlights get exported to the site: I wrote about the process here: https://medium.com/@sawyerh/how-i-m-exporting-my-highlights-from-the-grasps-of-ibooks-and-kindle-ce6a6031b298
Very nice! Thanks!
You magnificent bastard! I've been trying to figure this out forever. Thank you for sharing :)
Very cool. How are you getting your Pocket reading list onto your Kindle?
The two "Pocket" books are epubs I curated:
Haven't gotten around to integrating with the Instapaper or Pocket API's yet.
Oh that's cool
As a former e-book publisher and eternal book nerd, this is freaking mind-blowing. Universal annotations have always been a dream of mine — I even fuddled with OSX's iBooks guts to try and grab them straight from the source and parse them into Kindle's annotation format, but it was beyond my technical chops.
This isn't quite there, yet, but it's awesome and as close as one can get. Too bad Open Bookmarks never went beyond a pipe dream...
Cheers on the great work, will definitely take some time to try to setup my own highlights page!
Awesome, let me know if you have any questions while setting it up. Definitely a lot of moving pieces and AWS can be a bit intimidating.
Love the execution! Side scroll never works well in my opinion but I enjoy it a lot here.
Great site! I really wish that there's another service/app that does what Readmill did; social reading. So sad to see it go :( .
