      I think the solution to this ephemeral startup syndrome is to minimize investment and hiring, and focus on a product people are willing to pay for day 1… finding that magic you can build a business around.

        Just like the way business has always been done :)

        I'm no doubt in the minority, but I'm wary of using new tools or apps that are made by startups now, because you just don't know how long they'll be around. They're building for an exit or an acquisition, and you're just along for the ride.
