wlppr is still my favorite. Made up of satellite images from Earth: http://wlppr.co/
Gorgeous images, but I find them a bit too much for what I use for a background.
I use a similar app on my Android, called The Terra Collection, in conjunction with Muzei. Hopefully when WLPPR comes to Android, they also have Muzei support!
All black
For my regular (not-lock screen) background, always!
Yes, I like having something on my lock screen Too bleak without it.
These work well too.
Where does one get these?
iPhone: Settings> Wallpaper > Choose new > Stills
Almost all of mine come from http://fiftyfootshadows.net/. The photographer there is amazing.
My little buddy.
Right now, this image from Unsplash.
A majority of their photos make excellent backgrounds/wallpapers, although some are a bit too busy for me.
ha, great Toronto shot, not sure I'd seen that one
It wasn't featured, but under the 'new' section.

almost anything from butdoesitfloat
A picture of my girlfriend. Put it on there 4 years ago and now there is no way I can change it without looking like a bad boyfriend
Glad I'm not the only one with this "problem"
i aways take one from https://unsplash.com/
I have IFTTT setup to pull the top image from a photography sub-reddit and it rotates through a new one every 12 hours. Its nicer waking up to a different image every day.
Would be nice to be able to do that on iOS.
Favourite Cartoon + Google Images
This actually looks really good.
I use my own pictures as backgrounds on all my devices, like these :
Lock screen in Kyoto and the Home screen is the Shibuya Crossing.
Dark grey because I'm a wanker
I have this dark Jeremy Geddes on my desktop http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-w73SqWP44EA/U4cfZAwzl7I/AAAAAAAABPw/gJrSJQeEjVU/s1600/ascent.png
and this light Jeremy Geddes on my phone http://www.jeremygeddesart.com/popups/largeimages/small_white_large.jpg
Recently, I just fall in love with wlppr.co
I'm using a slightly modified version of this:
http://mikuloctopus.deviantart.com/art/Michelangelo-392134809?q=favby%3AKiorrik%2F1411830&qo=20
Made to have less contrast. No particular reason other than I love the art-style and wanting to stay in touch with the inner kid ;)
Had it for years. Very non-intrusive.

At the moment =P
I'm a big fan of these painted screens - have a few different ones on my desktop and my phone. - From Ghostly
I get mine from Mutua Matheka's Wallpaper Monday.
(There's also an Android app, but it's a little buggy.)
I use a photo I took of some local architecture.
