Thanks Chris for posting this, I'm honored! We worked really hard on the site and tried avoiding scrolljacking at all costs! :)

Haha! Gosh I hate scrolljacking. It's nice to hear the validation after spending so much time on it.

Thanks, Chris! Glad you love the product and the site. It's wonderful as a designer to have something that our team worked hard on to be well received. :)

Anyone else find it sort of odd for a product called Circle to be shaped like a square?

I wasn't a part of that process, but our industrial designer Sean Kelly felt the same way and wanted it to be a circle. Your point is a valid one! But it is what it is... :)

Now that I noticed that, it would literally frustrate me every time I get the name associated with the real world shape. I mean whyyyyy.

I love the site's design but I have mixed feelings about the product.

    Great job Jonathan!

What is it that you have mixed feelings about?

I personally find this product useful. My friend's kids are on social media all the time - yes you can explain them that it's not good, but the temptation is big. Limiting access to a couple hours a day helps and you don't need to constantly police your kids.

IMHO: It's like not trusting your sons. It's not a solution: it's eliminating the cause. You should teach your sons to be respectful and to use the internet in the correct way, not eliminating it.

Again, it's just my opinion and maybe I'm just too liberal.

Yeesh, I'd hate to live in a family that relies on this.

Broken wrist 0:19 into the video.

Site looks lovely, however it reminds me of the older nest thermostat website.

Does anybody already picture this nice stuff stored in the attic as soon as kids install themselves the app on their own devices, other than me?

Brilliant site and concept, but the wrapper at max-width on the site feels really weird imho. http://i.imgur.com/eHFk3pU.jpg

I think this product looks great! I have 2 small kids and they're soon to have iPads this Christmas. I think I'm going to buy this for me to control things. I love the filters and pausing. Even an ad blocker!

The people here with mixed feelings are likely "parenting experts" who don't have kids.

That's awesome Rick! Glad you are stoked about Circle. We are trying our best to really empower parents to have tools to be able to engage with their kids positively about healthy internet usage.

Sure some people will see this as "Big Mother" but at Circle we really have a positive view of technology but are trying to promote balance. Hopefully we hit that mark with consumers.
