Please let me control the scrolling; thanks.
I have to commend a large company like Logitech for trying out a bold new design like this. The product-listing pages are super fun, and the colors are a trip.
Ooooo… and the animated logo on hover made my morning.
Some really nice details in here. I'm still having a tough time looking past the rasterized logo. Surprising how high(ish) pixel density screens are still making a lot of things look bad.
I always feel like a bit of a jerk commenting on this as well, but it's really hard for me to give it a pass considering how common hidpi screens are becoming.
Especially from a large corp like this, if you're going to push a complete redesign, ship with .svg option or at least scaled rasterized images.
And it's even more difficult to look past scrolljacking.
Only assholes and people using free WordPress themes scrolljack.

Scrolljacking aside, this is a beautiful design imo.
Especially love the products pages: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/webcam-communications
The scrolljacking is so bad, if I scroll down in little, gentle motions it sometimes get confused and thinks I'm scrolling up. Really awful. I had to force myself to scroll down with a huge gesture way more aggressive than I usually do.
My comment is a bit after yours, but I'm wondering if they altered the scrolling already. It works quite well for me with a mouse and on my phone.
Nope, it's still bad. I scroll in tiny amounts on my trackpad, and my guess is that I actually scroll up 1 or 2 pixels before I scroll down because of the imprecise nature of trackpads. I think this page is set up to trigger the scrolljacking very sensitively (perhaps only waiting for the user to scroll for a few pixels instead of a lot.)
i was trying to use the nav and then it changed by itself into a hamburger
Hooooooly shit, I just saw what you mean. That is awful.
Perhaps the funniest thing about this is that it was probably a multi-million dollar redesign. I hope it was worth it.
Love it how they completely separated the gaming hardware from the hipster hardware. You can almost feel how they hope these two target audiences never stumble in the other one's lair. :D
Who designed the Chinese version? 站出来我保证不打死你。
Full on Zorro-snap...
[Blah blah insert comment about scrolljacking]
I think its beautifully done. The design really positions logitech as a modern company.
Not sure if i'm keen on the logo animating every time I open a new page, I do however love the bold colour palette. Would have been nice to give some indication on the links that take you to a separate sub domain/site from the main nav
For a swiss company, putting the language switch at the bottom (after much weird scrolling) just sucks. And why do I see the website in German if I'm in the french part of Switzerland and my browser is setup in french?
This looks really great. My only complaint is the vertical carousel. Each section goes by way too quickly.
Aside from the scroll jacking…I'm in love with the colors!!
woo -- talk about reminder of that Logitech identity redesign. Exploding in consumer friendly colour.
The sales/catalog side of things is allright, large, tablet/mobile UX is ok. I worry about that whole support side of things tho. Obv. a large project on its own, it's a mess of enterprise-y IT tech support clutter.
