i wanted one until my gf bought one, and the plastic 'cracked' (despite being soft) when she tried to put it on. literally broke as soon as she got it. i get there are probably some with manufacturing faults, but they didn't respond to her when she tried to contact them :/

FYI: I bought one of these probably 15 days ago or more and it still hasn't shipped. I had it to sent to the address I would be at for the next 7 days, but it never even shipped. Then I tried contacting the company. After 4 emails and a tweet, I finally got a hold of someone who helped change my shipping address to where I live. I was told it would ship by end of last week, but it still hasn't.
So, just FYI, they appear to be struggling keeping up with demand. So if you get one, you'll likely need to have a little patience. At least that's been my experience.
Do they have a drop test anywhere? That's my primary concern.
This probably isn't the case for you if you drop your phone a lot. It's a very thin, beautiful case that protects from scratches mostly.
Preventing screen shattering is definitely not one of the main purposes of the case. It's "ultra thin", so it's definitely no OtterBox. I think if you're concerned about drops, you may just wanna go with a more robust case.
If you're looking for something with a bit more protection have a look at the Ringke Slim. Dropped my phone a few times with no problems. Cheap too; sure I paid about £6 on amazon.co.uk
Funnily enough I received mine today, been waiting weeks for it. It's really great, feels sturdy and I can't believe how much lighter my phone feels now. My previous case the Incipio Feather, is not heavy or bulky by any means, but the Peel case is even lighter and thinner. It really does feel like there is no case on my phone at all.
I thought it would be worthwhile posting my experience so far.
- I ordered on October 18th and then got a (USPS) shipping notification on October 19th.
- The shipping status had not updated in a few days since and then I got an email from Marshall on October 22nd detailing the struggles coping with demand (understandable)
- I then replied to his email - as he encouraged for anyone with questions - on October 24th and I finally got a reply 3 days later on October 27th. The reply was another copy+paste regarding issues with demand.
- In that email I was told all orders would hopefully ship by the end of that week.
- After sending another reply to them, I got an email on November 3rd (another 2/3 delay in reply) saying it would ship by the end of that week.
- On November 4th I got an email saying international updates aren't always kept up to date on the USPS site (annoying to be told this at this point), but the case should arrive sometime early last week.
Unfortunately I'm still waiting and as it stands the last update on USPS is for October 25th with the status of "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS".
I understand there is delays and I'm not the only one left waiting but damn, it's getting frustrating now. And to make things worse I have a scratch/small crack on the bottom of my phone which may have been prevented if I had a case on my phone.
Hopefully my feedback can be helpful to Peel in resolving these issues (and getting my case too!).
Ugh. Same issue here. Ordered mine probably two and a half weeks ago. Hasn't shipped. No one at the company will contact me to give me any update. Getting really frustrated.
I had the same probs with delays, etc. Got it eventually. Satisfied, although it is a bit stretchy after a while.
I have one of these for my 6S and I love it.
I got a Peel cover and it's beautiful but kind of awful. Plastic is literally peeling off at all the edges. Haven't dropped the phone or anything. Really disappointed.
I had one for my 5s and I noticed the same thing, specifically around the volume buttons and power button.
Mine started to stretch a lot and even with cleaning it became pretty dirty/marked.
I've had this case three times now, each time it's 'peeled' itself away and broken. I've never dropped the phone, it just goes in / out of my pocket

I just think the case might not suit my lifestyle.
My phone is mostly a camera, so it's in and out of my pocket when I see something I want to capture. The issue is always around the edges, so my guess would be the edges aren't strong enough to support frequent use and frequent pocket-diving.
I have one for my 6S Plus.
A few things:
1) I wish it was grippier. More textured so that there's a better grip to it. Otherwise, why put a thin case on it when the phone itself is just as slippery?
2) I wish it was stiffer. I can kind of press on the edges and 'snap' the case against the phone almost. So I wish it was more sturdy.
3) I don't know how long the lip on the back camera is going to last... seems kind of flimsy and might indent or something if I keep placing the phone on its back.
Other than that, it's not bad.
What differentiates this from the Spigen AirSkin, Shumuri Slim Extra and Caudabe Veil XT cases?
They're all the same style, but it looks like out of the 3 you mentioned none of them are branding free like Peel.
Like the other poster said, branding free/ minimalism s pretty much the advantage. another comoany called Abrigo (getabrigo.com) also makes a branding free case that is "minimalist" (read:thin) as well
Their checkout process needs help. They have this intermediary page before checkout that automatically checks a box to add their charger pack to your order (quite inconspicuously) and then at the checkout page, there's no way to edit your cart there on the page, you have to click a button on the bottom left to "go back to cart"... wait, i thought i already was in my cart...
Edit: With that said, I still purchased a case for my 6 plus. I'm excited to try this out!
I contacted Peel to see if I could get my order changed to the pink case because I ordered mine a few days before I found out I could upgrade my phone (and I had to get the Rose Gold iPhone). Unfortunately, I still got the black case I originally ordered, but seeing as they've been backed up on orders for awhile, I decided to just suck it up and deal.
That being said, I love that this case protects my phone and doesn't make it seem like a bulky weight in my hand/pocket. First-world problem for sure, but I love it.
I would buy one if you make it so that it protects the screen from pancake drops. Current case looks like if the phone falls the screen would touch the floor first and it should be the case touching and absorbing the fall.
Ordered mine on September 29. Still waiting for delivery, after getting a shipment notification that was retracted...

It's brilliant. Got myself two - one for my iPhone 6s and another for 5s. Wish there would be one for the good old 4s but I suspect it would not be viable for the Peel to sell one (I suspect most of the Peel customers have 5s and up).
I'm more interested in your cables - they look out of stock now, when will you start supplying it? also, do they eventually give "the cable is not certified" error like other cables?
