      Well, Perl really isn't marketable compared to JavaScript. Even .NET is more exciting to work with.

    When I opened this, my brain was thinking "is this going to be masturbatory?" and I only got about half way in before my suspicious were confirmed.

    It's a complete and total anathema to me that thinly vieled recruitment videos like this barely cover the company culture and such. Give us solid data about what it's really like to work there instead of this.

      For me it was the dramatic piano music, the milky color grade and the opening sentence "I guess I've always been a designer. I've never really wanted to be anything else for as long as I can remember" that instantly put me off.

    Watched this.. very nicely filmed but not really much to take away from it. Probably could have stripped it back from 3 minutes to 30 seconds and still have the same dialog.

    I've known Phil for a number of years through a mutual friend. He's a really nice guy and exceptionally passionate and dedicated to his craft. It's a cool video. And it's cool that it's being driven by individuals rather than recruitment or marketing. Clearly that gives some idea of the culture there. Maybe there's some dissonance between the video and the title.

    The video and editing are pretty good. The boxing could be a bit better (keep those hands up, yo!).

    This video is apparently part of a hackathon and shot by a fellow designer. In that light, I think it's a pretty good video.

    When it comes to working at Booking.com, where's the part where the team discusses even more ways to pressure you into booking a hotel room with some dark UX patterns. (Someone is booking this hotel right now! Only 2 left on this website! 22% discount, only today! Deal, superdeal, genius deal! 41 people have just booked from the Netherlands! Or the one where the
