On the market so curious what folks with good taste enjoy.
Cheap Monday, from Sweden
Big fan for years. And they are quite affordable.
Levi's new Commuter range, water/stain resistant
Have had these 2x and they are awesome! +1
Nudie Jeans, Dry Jeans all the way!
+1 if you live near a nudie store, they will repair your jeans for free until they are unrepairable. Then you can trade them in for 20% off the next pair.
Levi's, because I can't afford anything else, haha.
Hard to beat Uniqlo on price:quality.
3sixteen slim tapered
A.P.C. & Momotaro Jeans.
Edwin. Especially the Rainbow Selvage.
Came here to say this ^
Check out Put This On's episode on Denim! https://vimeo.com/7391362
My first big-boy jeans was a pair from Tellason (made in San Francisco!). They were slimmer than I was used to but I got compliments on them.
Since then I've owned a couple different pairs of fancy jeans (Iron Heart, APC, etc.) but my favorite are my current jeans which I got from Flint & Tinder (makers of the 10-year hoodie).
My friends also swear by—and I've had good experiences with—Gustin jeans, which, like the F&Ts, are pretty steeply discounted.
Levis 520 Extreme Tapered
Levi's, who low-key have a lifetime warranty on all their denim products.
Fidelity Jeans (http://www.fidelitydenim.com/) are super nice, but also super expensive (like $200/pr.. yikes!). I have one pair and love them but at that price, it'shard to justify a few pairs
A little more affordable are Mavi jeans (http://us.mavi.com/), they're about $100/pr and are both stylish and lasting.
Kitsuné and A.P.C
This is an example of where a downvote button would come in handy.
If you like APC New Standard but don't want to pay the price or J Crew slim straight but are annoyed by the increase in cost for what are not at all craft jeans, I'd recommend trying a pair of LL Bean Signature Premium.
One of these days I want to get a pair of Momotaro! http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=5214&category_id=&manufacturer_id=42&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=62&vmcchk=1
A.P.C. are what are wear daily. I have four pairs ranging from like new to very well worn and I love each of them.
APC in either the Petite New Standard or the New Standard.
I'm 26 and have been wearing Hot Topic jeans for like the last 10 years. Can't beat $30 skinny jeans. #noshame
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Iron Heart -- they're my winter jeans (21oz is too ridiculous for summer wear). I alternate between those, Momotaros, and APCs for when I don't feel like wearing anything thick. I'm gradually phasing out APC stuff in my closet, though, because of Jean Touitou's ridiculous comments about Chinese people.
orSlow from japan is my definite favorite right now. Hard to get by, but quality to the extreme.
As most others have stated, Levi's & APC are also solid.
What I wear on a daily basis, but not stated above; Acne (sweden; good quality: good price, nice fit.), COS (price:quality ratio is great here) & 45R (also japanese, great quality jeans). From time to time I wear Nudies too, not too fond of the big swirl on the ass patch tho, but great customer service and quality.
Nudie Jeans -Tight Long John - Thin Finn
GStar -Revend Super Skinny (really comfortable and very stretchy)
edit, just realized it was you asking this Pat (my brother everyone else reading this). The GStar will prob be more comfy. Will send you pics of the Revend if you wanna see
Levi's all the way. 541 501 511
Levi's, but I would love to have some from Denham: http://www.denhamthejeanmaker.com
As a huge jean's fan, here's my list of favourites: - True Religion - PRPS - Blue Blood - Jason Denham - Edwin - We Are Replay (no longer around)
My pair of Tellason Ladbroke Grove jeans are my favourite sturdy denim, but I also wear Naked & Famous, APC and Uniqlo jeans regularly.
Levi's 541 all day

J Crew is worth the investment and they last forever
Get something like APC NS or some Naked and Famous for your first pair. Then transition to something a little higher end like Pure Blue Japan or Morimoto.
Skull, Sugar Cane, APC
