too much scroll hijack :(
Man, I love the graphics on this website. Rarely I see this kind of quality these days. They remind me of David Carson's work.
Looks to be designed by Instrument
Gah! Noooo, don't hijack my scroll :\
People Build Companies. Nice touch.
I think it has a nice amount of scroll hijack to be honest. The hijacked animations move vertically, and the speed and easing of the animations also feel rather natural. Both of those making it feel not too far removed from normal scrolling.
My biggest problem with scroll hijacking is when objects start moving across a random axis, images grow and shrink, and the page itself is literally frozen with no sort of vertical movement.
IMO this site does a good job of straddling the line between natural and experiential. Much props!
I like this. Highlighting their successes brings a good narrative to an otherwise abstract corporation. They also just highlight their investments, people, and ideas. Strong content strategy.
Whoever made all these collage-y images on the scroll jacked homepage must've grown tired of it QUICK.
Thanks for posting!
Holy fuck how horrible scroll jacking. I didn't know what was going on!
I really like it, the use of texture throughout is a nice change to so many utterly characterless websites doing the rounds at the moment.
I'm not normally one to whine about scrolljacking at every opportunity but I have to agree it's unnecessary and clumsy on this site.
It's so pretty and also easy to understand. It would be extremely helpful to lose the scroll-jack though. I don't see what it adds.
Graphics are really nice, too bad for the scroll jacking. It takes me almost 10 mins to get to the 32th company :(
Quite lovely. Color me impressed.
