The simplest side-project that you can imagine!
Sometimes you need a «finger» cursor for showing hover in your layout. And a lot of designers and creatives starts to google «hand cursor png transparent actual size» or look at their old psds.
So right now you can just go to cursorio.com and if you have a MAC then just grab a cursor and drop it into your layout, or if you have PC then save png and use it in future!
Interesting thing, that I spent one evening for building a project and already got a twit from The Designer of the Year – Tobias van Schneider – https://goo.gl/unTzll! It's amazing!
I hope that it will be useful for you! Cheers!
Nice work, Sergey! It's absolutely insane no one thought of this before...
If I could make a suggestion, though, I'd say add some OS X cursors as well.
Yup! I will add mac os and retina cursors as soon as I can! Thank you! ;)
Fantastic idea, maybe add SVG versions as well?
Haha. One of those moments that I think 'Why didn't I think of this before?'. I'm the one who's been googling for these assets all the time. Thank you!
Thank YOU for your positive feedback! Cheers! ;)
I have a full library of cursors inside Adobe Fireworks. Nice try anyway ;)
I don't know why, but a lot of designers still don't use libraries! =)) And not designers (creative, who make presentations in keynote or powerpoint for example) don't have a chance to use libraries as well. So they search for cursors every time =))
Can confirm. don't use libraries. thank you for your contribution!
You are welcome! ;)
It is the only one I use.
Nice, has anyone made a library for this in sketch yet?
I replied elsewhere, but here are several of the most useful ones: https://dribbble.com/shots/1318868-Nifty-OS-X-Sketch-app-cursors
I'm happy that you liked it! Thanks!
Very awesome. (Although I at first saw the white text that is hidden until you hover over the ? and it drove me nuts until I figured out what it was.)
These are probably the 4 most common, but there are a lot more:
Yup! But I wanted to make the simplest thing when you don't need to choose from a huge bunch of cursors. Usually for our layouts we need just these for pieces, isn't it? If you need much more cursors of course you can find it, but if you need to find a right one quickly then cursorio is a good option! :)
But thank you for the link! It's really very useful!
I appreciate this!! Cheers!
this is still a nice addition. sometimes you just need to quickly grab something like this.
but that sketch library looks really nice as well, thanks for sharing!
Am I really the only one who's just gone into OSX and found the actual cursors in vector graphics? Now I have this folder with 41 cursors that I just use every time. If anyone want to make a library feel free, but it's pretty easy to drag and drop pdf files as well ;)
(Yes, thats what the pointing hand looks like up close... yuck)
