+1 for the name 'Designer List' being literally what this is- just a list of designers.

With the way it's showcasing designers, it feels like another popularity contest/circle-jerk à la Dribbble with more retouched profile pictures to look at than work. What does 'Top Rated' even mean if it just sorts by # of hearts? What do the hearts even mean either, especially when a good number of folks haven't uploaded any examples of work?

If the focus of the site is to list designers from certain countries, great- focus on that and make the 'Anywhere' link more obvious that it's a clickable search field.

This is uber cool! I think someone should research the correlation between great designers and the size of their beard ;)

Just gonna echo the other comments on here and say: why? We already have a list of the most popular designers (https://dribbble.com/designers). What do I gain from being on here, and what do others gain by looking through this list?

Not trying to shoot it down, but just trying to understand the need.

Very cool. Would love to see the geo filter by city or state instead of just country.

While this is really, really cool. I think it's interesting to consider if you're a designer that sending potential clients to a page like this - where even on your own profile page it says 'check out these other cool designers in the US' - might not be the best idea. It's like if you walked into a store and they gave you an ad for another store. Probably not the best idea to link to this from your main portfolio or site.

However for connecting and community building this is killer.

Agreed. The only anyone will see you is if you have enough <3's... I could see something like this totally having value, but right now it doesn't have much value (why not just filter dribblers by location?) I'm very curious about what the goal/purpose of this is.

This is awesome! Thanks for such a useful tool.

Wondering if adding web pages to "My Links" could be made easier? Maybe by clicking on the Chrome Extension button you can add the page you're currently on. There's already a button for opening new tabs :)

Some quick interaction nuances that annoyed me:

    • I can heart a person but I can not unheart them? I did not know what I was doing and would like to undo my action please

    • I go into the 'filter by country' view and the list is in alphabetical order starting with Afghanistan. I'm going to consciously assume that most people are not looking for designers Afghanistan or those other "A" countries that I can see, which includes America Samoan and Antartica. I would suggest having a smarter default list

    • Also in the 'filter by country' view, it would be nice if I can use the keyboard arrows to navigate the filtered list
