Sketch Beta: preview artboards in a web browser on your local network.

almost 8 years ago from , Designer at Mono

From the latest Sketch Beta release log:

  • Artboards can now be previewed in a web browser and shared on the local network.

I personally think this is a great step in the right direction. I also feel that my hopes that the Sketch team are building a full-blown design sharing / feedback tool are more founded. Looking forward to the next steps the team will take!

Hope this works well! I built a tool to add this sort of thing to my workflow last year: Respre. But it requires exporting your artboards to image files, so Bohemian building this into Sketch could save the headache of that middle step.

Really looking forward to this. Mirror seems to be very hit or miss these days via wifi.

I hope this works. Only last week did I mention to the team, I'd love to be able to easily preview designs in browsers without having to save and open flat images.
