I recently went over this post and loved every second of reading and working through it. I was wondering where I should head next? Are there any free resources (video or text based) which I can use to get started? :)
Here are some I've collected:
How is the learning going? I found a recent blog post including ES6, Babel, Sass sourcemaps and webpack and I had to share http://humaan.com/getting-started-with-webpack-and-react-es6-style/
A good friend of mine, Mike Chau, has an open source book called the React Primer. I think it gives beginners a perfect starting point.
PS - I highly recommend joining the reactiflux slack community and asking for help there when you need it. Feel free to ping my handle, jarsbe.
Been a while but I was getting into a project with React and saw someone switched from Flux to Redux and then read this blog post: https://blog.andyet.com/2015/08/06/what-the-flux-lets-redux
Is this something you're moving towards?
Sorry for the late reply myself. Yes - from my perspective (which is skewed) everyone is shifting to Redux. Once you grok it it is conceptually simple to work with. Less code, easily testable and a tiny dependency which you could even write yourself. Ping me on the reactiflux channels if you need help getting going.
Right on, thanks a lot Jack.
Awesome. Thanks a lot!
