As art, it's a beautiful site. As a way to communicate what the company does/why I should care, I don't think it's very effective.

It took me way too long to realize that clicking 'more' gave me information about what the company does. That's the information I'm primarily interested in if I'm shopping for an agency. The first thing I did was click on the big circle, then I clicked close. After that, I stopped thinking about the 'more' button as anything other than a secondary action.

    Everything looks great, though.

EDIT: Also, this could just be, me but having founders, then leads, and then apprentices doesn't make me want to work there. An apprentice title at a tech agency is, in my opinion, slightly condescending.

Maybe their core demographic wasn't people shopping for an agency. All businesses are different but when I worked on the design of an agencies own site we discovered that very little work comes in through the website. We had two choices about whether we tried to increase the amount of work we got through the site or used it for a different purpose. Perhaps they had the same decision to make and came to a different conclusion.

Sometimes agencies want to use their site to increase their recognition in their own field or even to win design awards (seems tacky but it happens).

As I designer, I like to look at this. As a user, I feel like I'm trying to navigate a flash site from 2002.

Looks cool. Not a doctor, but I feel like this could induce a seizure.

Tastes vary. But stunned how critical DN users are. I bet there is no website which can be universally aclaimed here.

This leaves a bad taste. It's another level to see the beauty and forget the envy. A level you'll never reach.

Some of these comments are downright rude.

It's beautiful, sure, but the primary function of a website is to gain information. It should be easy to access this information. This site is (very) confusing, and honestly I didn't last very long on it. Form should follow function, in my opinion.

The site is flashy... but what else have they done? When I hire, I want to know about previous experience.

Visually it could be deemed as impressive but it has awful navigation and those transitions border on fit inducing
