I'm biased, because I love IFTTT, but I don't agree with most of the article. Sure, there could be a certain reorganisation and creating default journeys for popular apps, like the instagram example. But IFTTT is so powerful, and that's what makes it a bit confusing, because you can do so much with it. And I believe the whole principle behind it is to give freedom to anyone to do whatever they want with it.

So, I think it works great as it is already, but it's probably not the easiest product to use for the masses. And writing this I realise that if they want to gather a bigger audience, they'll need to make the product easier to use.

I also love IFTTT as it is. It's complexity is part of what makes it charming. However, I do feel it could be more accessible without taking the freedom and power away from it's current users.

      Thanks for the feedback.

I recently found myself having a lot of ideas on how to make IFTTT more accesible as a product. All feedback is greatly appreciated!
