I think Mike's article is interesting but he paints the picture a bit too black and white, in my personal opinion. Would I be a bad person if the FBI approached me to design them a new duty weapon and I took the job? How about the United States military? Kalashnikov did the job required of him by his government. That's all. Their soldiers needed a more reliable weapon to fight the war and he was drafted to create it. He never set out to design a weapon for child soldiers to use.
This sanctimonious nonsense telling people what they're allowed to do and not to do is horseshit. Stop telling people they are obligated to save the world through making better websites and concert flyers.
