It’s beta software. Things are in flux.

Apple doesn't do "in flux", public.

Technically, this isn't for the public, it's for developers. (¬_¬)

Despite being technically only for developers, I will say that a few co-workers and I saw a 14 yr old kid at Shake Shack in NYC with iOS 7 on his phone. Granted this part of town (down near WTC) is full of the most spoiled, entitled, and generally annoying rich kids I've ever seen, and I'm sure his parent didn't think twice about paying $100 for the Apple Dev License so their kid could have it.*

Point being, I've seen tons of people while out and about who aren't devs running iOS 7, more so than I've seen average people running previous beta releases.

              • Side note, I obviously really wanted to give that rich kid a wedgie.

You can also just pay people to register your device UDID as one of theirs for a lot cheaper than $100 if you're really looking to get the beta release.

Good to see they've made iMessage better (I observed some slight visual issues with beta 1). I forgot about Voice Memos, maybe I'll use it now.
