Personally I got annoyed by trying to find which squares had a nav item in them, and that the back button doesn't work.

    Apart from that...

What are people's thoughts on the hidden nav? Strictly speaking it's 'bad ux' hiding the menu. But in this context and on a small brochure site, it makes it more fun? Good/Bad, Yay/Nay?

I think this is an example where the site design doesn't have to conform to good ux / bad ux ... they can just do whatever they want. It's avant garde both musically and in the design of the site.

I first tried this on mobile and had no idea what the site was for, and what to do.

Did anyone else click the name of the band because they thought the “E” was a hamburger menu?

I like the look and feel, though I'm not so big on having to hunt down the navigation. Subtle clues to which boxes have something clickable could be added without giving up much on the intended experience. Otherwise it's a cute site.

Super fun! Quick and quirky. Great colors and background image. Have to do a bit of exploring to figure out how it works. Very cool.
