I don't use illustrator. At all. I typically use Photoshop for UI - I'd prefer to adopt Sketch but that's an uphill battle here.
I'm adopting someone's project done entirely in illustrator and I'm just fumbling for 45 minutes to do the simplest things. Help :(

I started with UI Design with Adobe Illustrator. It's a bit dated but the content really helped me get started.
