Not optimised for mobile in every bad way possible (sorry).

    • fixed sidebar
    • small typeface
    • zooming in scrambles everything together

      • not an App

I thought this was going to be something like the native App that Panda is supposed to be launching, but it's not. The site looks pretty good, but I'm going to stick with Panda for now.

I made http://serializer.io earlier in the year. It's similar but has some other features like a mobile view, cross device syncing, tweet counts and reading time estimates. Check it out. Always looking for feedback.

Would definitely encourage open sourcing this, but regardless I like it!

One tip, I would add color (editable) identifiers next to each news source in the left col, and then use those colors on the items in the list for immediate association of the source.

Definitely agree with this being made open source.

But in regards to colour, One of the tent poles of the site right now is the simplicity of design and colour, so rather than matching the source site colour to the item itself on the list, and possibly making the thing annoyingly colourful, I'd suggest maybe just highlighting the source name in the item with the matching colour. That way the visual cue is still there but it's not overpowering.

Would be really nice if article links opened in new tabs, but this is a pretty nice and simple approach to pulling all of these different sources into one.

The grey on grey is a bit much, but I love the start of this project!! Good Job.

Would you consider open sourcing this so others could play around with it a bit possible? That'd be so incredible! :D
