I think it's great! But could it open up a form in-browser, rather than just triggering a mailto: link?

  Agreed, mailto links feel lazy and assume everyone has a mail client setup. Personally, I really dislike the jarring switch of having your mail app fire up.

1. I love this. Really great work, and a much-needed feature.
2. When I hover over the face, then move the cursor over to the text, it starts to recede as I leave the hoverable area until the cursor is over the text again. I wish it would wait a moment before hiding so it felt a little smoother. 2a. I don't know if that makes any sense.
