    I am a little torn here; While I agree with majority of this article, regarding how website quality is a sum of all parts that led to that result, I don't think I agree with the web designer relying on separate IA guy.

    I understand that on large projects one person can't do it all, but I think saying that designer can't do much without being handed proper documentation/information architecture, it actually paints the picture of designer just putting "nice graphics" together.

    Also, the police site, while looking nice… what did they do to scrolling dynamics?

      Good article. I found a typo ("they're" instead of "their") and you make a mention to a "she" in your second point without saying who she is (I'm assuming the author of the NYT piece).
