I really like Koken, hope it all works out.
This bums me out, but I can't say it doesn't make sense. I really hope this finds a good home.
I'm so happy this is happening and I really hope someone snaps it up. I transferred my site to Koken right after they updated something in Feb/March (i.e. it was currently being supported) and was happy with it. Until my site mysteriously disappeared and because of the radio silence for MONTHS on their end, I had to grab a knowledgeable family member to help me reinstall and relink the database (apparently a few key members had left and there was only 1 guy running everything).
Koken is a great product, but it needs more people behind it.
Interesting. A colleague just invited me to help him with a photo startup, this may be an interesting acquisition that matches well with his vision...
