I love love love these inputs. I noticed you've mapped the SHIFT and CONTROL keys to do the right thing, bravo. Might be some bug with SHIFT because when I pressed it after a drag is in progress, the value jumped by 10 without moving the mouse. I would also suggest a cursor change on hover to a double-arrow ( < -- > ) and perhaps some default styling to make it appear more draggable.

I'd love to see wider adoption of these 'drag on the value' controls on the web. I use them extensively in my design prototyping app* and I'm trying to get people used to them!

I absolutely love this interaction, but I can't see myself using this in projects, since it has no affordances for users, even those who do use Photoshop :)

Very true. I guess that's why I'm the engineer.

This is definitely more of a power-user plugin. Thankfully, It's a normally functioning text field unless you know its secret.

Just a little something I whipped up a few weeks ago and turned into a Cosmos project.
