Might be me but I find the UX on this page is quite confusing. The URL suggests one of those lists that tells you things to do before launch. Then the UI suggests this as well, but it's actually a 'reading list generator' ?
Could do with some more instructions eg. 1. Type your name 2. Select the topics you want to learn about 3. Start reading.
Good point! There was a change in content and we should definitely change the copywriting here to me more clear.
Totally agree. I found this really confusing.
Maybe because it looks like a to-do list, I thought I was checking off things which I had done. It took me quite a bit to figure out that I had to make selections and then click the 'start reading' button.
It makes sense on a second look at it, but for some reason I struggled to understand what to do.
It looks damn sexy though!
Some essential reading :)
Have I missed anything? Feel free to suggest articles, especially design related ones!
Not to just plug my own stuff, but I think the article I wrote is relevant: https://medium.com/mobile-culture/what-it-takes-to-launch-a-mobile-app-7e8ba88ebc03
I didn't find the UI necessarily confusing. But I am curious if you guys intend/intended to make it into an actionable list generator?
Seems like this is an MVP. But I like it. Would be cool to add in the best podcast episodes too.
