More great work by Elastic
They also did the fantastic opening credits for Halt and Catch Fire.
Very cool stuff. That must be his rep.
I think is his personal site is: http://www.antibody.tv/
Fully agree. The Halt and Catch Fire credits are just astonishing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY8NO8R4AI8
Both TD seasons and Halt and Catch Fire opening credits are my favorites. The only ones I sit through.
Didn't know they were from the same people, but not surprised.
Loved the opening credits.
I feel like a jerk, but that is about the only positive thing I can say about the first episode of Season 2.
Then you have one more positive thing to say than me ;)
I mean visually they were nice, but the song didn't feel like it matched up in terms of pace and tone. Didn't feel cohesive, just like two things slapped together.
I have hope this season will get better... don't disappoint me tru tective.
First seasons's "The handsome family - far from the road" was a killer song. It fits sooo perfectly. If they had used the same song, it'l be still cool :D
I have the same feeling. The opening credits are masterpieces, even my programer room mate has great things to say about them, but the rest is a bit heterogeneous.
Yea, this pilot didn't quite grab me like the first episode of season 1. One was more haunting, focused, and mysterious. So far, Two feels like a network procedural with more grit and a higher production quality.
But the awesome cast and the guy without eyes at the end left me excited intrigued for more.
I'll definitely try out one more episode. But the first one had me hooked immediately on the premise of some crazy cult, while this one is Vince Vaughn wanting to build some corrupt construction project.
My wife described this episode as "one hour of staring and flying over the 110 freeway."
haha Good, succinct description.
Well hopefully we're all pleasantly surprised by episode 2.
Gave up after episode 2. I'll wait for some friends to get to episode 4 or 5 if they tell me it is worth continuing.
I particularly like how the intertwining highways at the 1:04 mark take on the appearance of muscular tissue.
I liked it, definitely got the mood right but not as good as the one from the first season: https://vimeo.com/84017154
Music and imagery matching perfectly imho.
