Team Waybury is very pleased to introduce Relay. We aim to simplify design communication for creatives by connecting your design tools, with your process and team. We'd love your feedback!
This looks great! I could definitely see myself using it. Already signed up on the list!
Thanks for adding yourself! We sure hope you find it useful. I'll make sure you're included in the first group of invites going out tomorrow or the following day.
Yeah! Going to try as hard as I can to get Adobe design teams using this.
You're the best Charles! Thank you so much for all your help.
Awesome. The team here is excited to try it out :D
Yes!! This is what i'm looking for! Signed up as well, can't wait to test this out!! Thanks!
This looks interesting, as early stage collaboration is still something my team is figuring out. So any tool that can alleviate even a little bit of the complexity will be highly beneficial.
Great idea. Just signed up for an invite.
We are very susceptible to flattery :)
I'll make sure you're in the first round of invites that'll be going out tomorrow or the following day.
lol - Nice man.
Hey congratulations on just having an idea and executing.
This is looks promising!
Looks super promising. Can't wait to check it out.
I have been alpha testing this for a while. Our entire team lives in Slack and this makes it one fewer tool for our engineers. You guys should check it out!
Thanks Ivan! That's a great way to put it.
You made me even more excited when I saw you're using Meteor! It seems like a great choice for your type of app. How has your experience been with it so far?
Also, are you using Electron? If yes, how is it to design for Electron?
Good to hear... glad you noticed! Meteor has been fun and interesting to work with and has ultimately been a good fit for our product. The ubiquitous reactivity and persistent WebSocket connection has also led to some surprising and unexpected discoveries for feature ideas and functionality.
We started playing with Meteor back around v0.8 to try it out while prototyping some initial concepts for Relay, but Meteor's development has mostly kept pace with our needs so we kept building on it and finally went into production with it.
Haven't used Electron before... but just give me a reason! ;}
I'll definitely stay tuned!
Just think about the time you could save with Electron over developing a whole Windows and OS X app from scratch and maintaining it. Even the thought of doing animations on Windows would make me consider using Electron.
Also take a look at Menubar. It might be something you're looking for.
It's worth to download and try out a few production Electron apps to see if they keep up with your expectations.
