Oh come on, that post is from August 2014 — less than two months after Material Design was announced. I'm not usually one to stand behind mega-corporations, but this kind of click-baiting overreacting is pointless and helps no one.

Uh, old, and all the examples are just nitpicking. How much better is the competitions design (Apple, Microsoft)? Either the article was written for clickbait, or the writer is really just naive.
