    What a terrible interview question.

If you have unlimited time, nothing will ever be done. If you have unlimited money, you hardly need a design process at all. If you have an undefined problem, you have an infinite possibility for different design processes.

If the interviewer was smart, they tried to see whether you have the guts to call them out on their bullshit. If it was a sincere question, they probably don't know much about design processes themselves.

The interviewer didn't say they were ideal conditions. What would you do with the "constraint" of unlimited time and money if you had to design something?

This is what my original comment was going to be. But a ridiculous question deserves a ridiculous answer.

Snort copious amounts of cocaine and create masterpieces in a haze.

I would hire someone full-time to come up with constraints to challenge me. Oh and they're also my personal chef/sommelier.

I would answer back by asking why do we design in the first place? Then go from there
