    It's not a perfect distinction, but one way of thinking about it is this:

    Are you only designing screens to be rendered in software?

    Then that's UI.

    Are you also writing the scripts for the staff to help them complete a product sign-up in person?

    Then that's UX.

    Some people specialise in one or the other. That's fine. Some people do both. That's also fine.
