This is one of the nicest sites I've seen in a while, so I think its cool to post it twice.
I absolutely love the site. I was just in a DN policing mood this morning.
Couldn't find it while searching and didn't gave an error while posting :|
EDIT: Searched again, but saw it only on the second page, the reason DN didn't gave me an error was probably because he didn't directly linked the post to the site. Moderators, could you remove my post?
I missed it 3 days ago, so thanks for posting this. ;-)
Interesting navigation! It doesn't conform to my initial conceptual model of how it should work... but once you use it, it's not too hard to understand. Interesting!
Thought it was interesting seeing an agency portfolio site structured almost like a single page application. The simple layout and fluid interactions are also perfectly emblematic of their work, in line with their impressive Virgin America redesign.
Has anyone seen what happens when you resize the screen? It has the cutest little animated illustration that relates to the Virgin America project.
I really like the website, I feel it caters everything you need to inform the user/customer.
Its fuss free and I can find what I need to know about the company and look at their case studies without over used transitions.
This is fantastic. Really great work.
Gorgeous site, and that animation is amazing hahah
It's ok. I like the nav behaviour, but I find the type in general a bit underwhelming. Akzidenz and Garamond are nice n'all, but they're both very tired.
Very interesting design and definitely a great technical achievement in their menu/page navigation. Unfortunately it doesn't give the user a clear sense of place once they have entered a section.
I love the typography but I don't think white type on an edge to edge red background is very easy to read on the web. It can look great on printed designs but on the web it doesn't work so well. I also think 12px Akzidenz Grotesk in gray tends to be pretty hard to read.
Very beautiful though…I want a printed copy of it!
