Closed the tab after watching the loader for 5 seconds.
The epitome of showing off at the cost of performance.
Didn't realize that animation was supposed to be a loader. Never made it beyond was seemed to be a never-ending animation.
It's quite nice when it eventually pulls down the 170+ requests worth of stuff and 12mb of video files (on a portfolio page) which then doesn't really say anything of substance about the project.
Should certainly be a lot faster but I had to wait 10+ secs for homepage to load too.
Got to my third loading animation and said "screw it". Great design completely ruined by absolutely awful performance.
Everything I clicked brought up a never ending loader.
Once the website was loaded, the design was nice! But it's a little bit resource hungry and also the way it controlled my scrolling speed didn't feel very nice.
Same issue here. I'm on a 50mb connection and it still took 7+ seconds to load which is a shame, because the design is beautiful.
