Okay, now that some of us have had time to digest the new interface, let's move beyond the "The icons are gross" knee-jerk reactions. Going deeper, I've been noticing a bunch of inconsistent and confusing changes to the UI... and I know you all have, too. Let's document some of them here.
I'll start with a really subtle one. Compared with previous versions, in iOS 7 Safari, the tab bar icons are less immediately distinguishable: the three rightmost icons all look at a glance like squares, when they should signify "Share", "Bookmarks", and "Tabs" respectively. In iOS 6, they were clearly distinguishable, so this change strikes me as a loss for usability.
