I hate Trello's update notes. What if I just need to know whats new? Like in the fast way.
5 paragraphs of "epic" tales and it all comes down to...
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
tl;dr
WHO. IS. THEIR. COPYWRITER. Give them a huge raise!
Tremendous brand voice. Them and Citymapper.
YES. Citymapper is fantastic too. Love them.
My attention span does not allow such things.
I found it pretty amusing. Sure, release notes aren't meant to be funny, but scrolling down just a little gives you actual update notes if you want them.
I'll take a short story over boring notes any day. Go team.
I love Trello so much.
I do not understand the need to be funny in release notes. Trello is doing this kind of stuff but it's not the only one. The Citymapper team does pretty strange release notes text...
Is there a web service which archive the release notes of iOS app ? I can remember of iUseThis but it's a wiki so not pretty exhaustive...
I needed this a while back, and App Annie was the best I could find: https://www.appannie.com/apps/all-stores/app/trello/
The database is pretty large, but you need to register to browse it.
Oh great it's a bit messy but it contains all I was looking for ;) Thanks a lot. If there is a smaller app with only release notes i'll take it !
Yes, let's all ban the fun from the most boring job in the world.
I agree, while we're at it let's ban the fun for everyone!
Trello has the best update notes. Their notes for their iPhone 6/6+ update was just as interesting.
