Crazy you posted this, I was trying to adjust a stock photo I had to use, it was of a pile of banknotes and this came up. They're watching.
I remember at some point reading about a specific 'constellation' of marks used to identify notes that features on most currency. It's probably not in use any more but it was fascinating to read. I'm curious about how modern notes and software implement this.

According to Hacker News, a workabout to importing the picture into Photoshop is to use GIMP to save it as a PSD first, and then open the PSD into Photoshop.
Photoshop 7 is the last version that can open/edit them.
