Meh… They're Google, they should register the domain moc.elgoog.
Did something similar a few month ago, using the same technique : http://www.howmycomputersees.me/
very clever!
Did they petition for google as a top level domain just for this april fools joke
I really, really hope so. Put those resources to good use, Googs
They didn't, if it were for the purpose of this joke it would be .elgoog. Anyway, I always thought they should make it so that anything you type with that TLD would redirect you to it's search page. One last thing, if they really wanted to take this to the next level, they should have made it so that the results would have been flipped as well. Maybe next year.
Hover over the "I'm feeling lucky" button over and over until it says "I'm feeling puzzled" for a really neat game.
It's good to see the 'permanent' Easter eggs still work even in this mirror version.
ect..
'Do a barrel roll' does go a little weird though. 'tilt' returns it to its normal look.
Wow, they really put a lot of work into this, and it's actually pretty funny :D
I thought they did it using transform:rotateY(180deg)
, but seems to be flipping the whole thing, even source code comments are flipped!
EDIT: Yep, I was right
They have added transform: scaleX(-1);
just to reinforce it.
