I wish I could just upvote the shit out of this gif.
I was really hoping that after that long title, the body of the article would just say "LOL"
I like how designers and innovation enthusiasts starts to be cynical about the tech world and themselves.
We need to be critical about our field, just to make sure we don't run blindly in wrong directions.
I like the quote "Frenetic is nothing like productive".
... and unfortunately I don't remember where it's from.
Hey guys, Loving the love this article is getting. When I hit the publish button, I had a slight fear it would be met with a lot more confusion and/or hate.
As @rocket_flo points out, it's nice to see that the tech community can have a sense of self-awareness and accept a little self-deprecating humor. :)
Self-deprecation keeps us focused ;) Thanks for the laugh!
Holy super long run on sentence article title, Batman!
As someone trying to do a non-lame version of sharing my work experiences and opinion on Medium, I very much appreciate this post. We can't all be 'thought leaders'.
Completely agree. I think this notion of "thought leadership" is nudging a lot of people into the same nook of content creation. And it's leaving a ton of opportunity for those who can recognize it and go in uncharted directions.
If everyone is a "though leader", no one is.
I've written these kind of posts…
lol.. almost sounds believable except for the 12 billion subscribers.
I used to swear by all of the stuff I read on Medium but I just got sick of it all.
This, however, is hilarious. Love it.
This is the best.
I miss Jesus Christ, Silicon Valley.
Hilarious post, great work
I'd love this success story as Johny Ive's Keynote
I wish we could have the lead character from Silicon Valley "write" this post while on the show. Satire win for everyone.
Made my day. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you for this.
Please more of this, please. I'll try to write something along the lines of this post.
