There are tons of subscription services for designers and developers. I'm doing a bit of market research for a product and was wondering what subscriptions you guys have?
As less as I can, actually. Trying to get by without too many subscriptions.
Personally, I'm using:
- Digital Ocean (for dedicated hosting)
- Dream Host (for domains and simple hosting)
- Spotify (can't deal with those pesky ads...)
- Typekit (Font faces <3)
Our (super small) company is using:
- Browserstack (so incredibly valuable for Web Dev)
Edit: Oh well, I clearly misinterpreted "subscription". On the bright side, my shameless plug is even more shameless now :D
• Dropbox • Adobe CC • Invision • Spotify • Harvest
More or less the same as above:
- Adobe CC w/ Typekit
- Google Apps for Business
- Amazon Cloud Music
- OVH (hosting)
My favorites are:
- Creative suite
I also use some free-plan or beta services like:
Really surprised to see only one person with a Harvest subscription. As a freelancer I couldn't live without it. Here's my list...
. Adobe CC
. Box Team (cheaper than Dropbox for the same quality)
. Amazon Glacier for backups with Arq
. GetDPD for selling my digital products
. Ghost for the blogs
Adobe CC with Typekit
Digital Ocean (personal site)
As a company we host some of our sites on our own hardware and others we host on dedicated servers. Since we specialise in WISA applications, and since we're Microsoft partners, we're currently considering switching Microsoft Azure as we believe the platform will mature.
- Photoshop CC / Typekit
- Web hosting
Just remembered another one:
Just Dropbox for personal use.
- Google Drive
- Office 365
- Web Hosting (DigitalOcean)
- Adobe CC
- Web Host (A Small Orange)
- Google Apps
Edit: Added web hosting.
- Adobe CC
Buffer Photoshop CC Wunderlist Pro Dribbble
Evernote Dropbox Postach.io (would never recommend)
