I've been enjoying Podcast Method, The Gently Mad, The Tim Ferriss Show, Ruby Rogues, and a lot of others.
I host Developer Tea, and I'd be honored if you'd check it out. :)
Love what you're doing man! I've been listening to every episode since you started :) the format is perfect
Yeah Developer Tea is a really nice format! Nice chill tea moment in my day.. When are you planning on releasing new episodes? Keep up the good work.
Peter,
I release a new episode every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, currently!
Hi thanks, something went wrong in my podcast app appairently. Downloading about 23 episodes as we speak ;)
My favorite is Design Review Podcast http://www.designreviewpodcast.com
Disclaimer: I'm a co-host and spend way too much time on it
It's a great podcast! Please continue spending too much time :-D
@Martin L. Nice batman icon. ;)
Yes. I also think the Design Review Podcast is most excellent!
More people should listen to it!! Get it on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/design-review/id947753823?mt=2&at=11lMug&ct=jns-linkshare&uo=8&at=11lMug

This American Life & Radiolab These two shouldn't need explaining.
99% Invisible Great stories about design and architecture.
Invisibilia A podcast about hidden or invisible forces in our lives.
Start up About starting the podcasting company Gimlet, unique insights into what it's like to go out on your own.
Planet Money Interesting stories about money, not just for economics nerds, highly recommended.
Reply All The first podcast from Gimlet media (other than Start up). Stories about the internet.
We have concerns Kind of like Radiolab meets mystery science theatre. Funny commentary about science and Philosophy.

The Start About how young designers get started. 2 seasons, now finished.
Song Exploder Exploring how specific music tracks get made.

uhhhh, sold.
This sounds like my dream world
Thanks for mentioning The Start! New season should be around in April :)
Thanks for listing us (The Design Review) in your top 12!!
The first Invisibilia episode was pretty wild—I can't wait to dig into the rest.
I frequently listen to many podcasts:
Ask Me Another Invisibilia Reply All Start Up Snap Judgement Good Job Brain Radio Lab Planet Money
And my all time favorite: 99% Invisible.
Besides the obvious stated above or recently been listening to Developer Tea. It's a great 15 minute podcast on web development
Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, [Love + Radio](loveandradio.org).

The Duncan Trussel Family Hour and The Joe Rogan Experience and also Kill Tony on the Deathsquad podcast.
I like successful users but it hasn't been updated this year.
I'll second Joe Rogan Experience (select episodes). He generally bats about 500 with guests — some are a bit silly. Occasionally he'll have incredibly fascinating guests on.
This recent episode with Randall Carlson is perhaps the most fascinating podcast I've listened to in the past couple years.
I love Gimlet media's Reply All & The Startup. Also 99% invisible is pretty great.
Need those t-shirts, Bono
I've recently cut down on them, because I've noticed that I'm not keeping up with my queue. Very few remained:
Daring Fireballs The Talk Show & ATP, both are more focused on tech & apple rather than design.
Design podcasts usually put me to sleep, as the hosts usually talk in whispers....
Have yet to listen to one, which holds my attention.
Is there a design podcast that is loud, full of profanity and good old fashioned rants? lol -
I do love podcasts.
I go for either business, health or obnoxious - mindless ramble/ comedy.
Agree on the whispering stuff, listen this stuff in the morning so need something that wakes me up! Listing to Narwals aswel, its a bit random at times but great fun to listen to often.
Mark Brickey hosting Adventures in Design is loud, full of profanity and good old fashioned rants! http://www.aidpodcast.com/
Song Exploder.
Imagine a great designer explaining the thought processes behind their best work and now apply the concept to music. Great musicians explaining the process behind composing their music. I can't recommend this one highly enough.
If you run a business and don't listen to Dan Mall's Businessology show, I don't know what you're doing.
Pitching mine ;) Conversations with designers working in sports — http://makersofsport.com
Obviously Design Matters with Debbie Millman. She asks the best questions.

Seth Godin's Startup School http://www.earwolf.com/show/startup-school/
Sorry for the personal plug, but since it's kind of on topic...
Just released a new app called "Wave" (http://wavepodcasts.com/) which is kind of like a Designer News for podcasts. Stories with many votes/likes gets surfaced in the trending feed and you can follow your friends and get recommendations etc.
Can't recommend the Collective Podcast (http://www.thecollectivepodcast.com/) from Ash Thorpe enough. Really great and inspiring discussions with artists and creators from all types of fields. Great inspiration.
My current top podcasts are Design Details, Developer Tea, Decode DC, Electric Shadow, The Flop House (it's a laugh riot), Invisibilia, Isometric, Reply All, Movie Fights, ShopTalk...
I'll stop there. I listen to too many podcasts.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
I'm probably biased here, but Invisibilia, All Songs Considered, This American Life, & Radiolab are my staples. Startup, Reply All, Song Exploder, & KEXP Live are on heavy rotation as well.
Revision Path and The Year of Tea are my podcasts.
I listen to a bunch, here's the ones I'm sure to catch weekly:
99% Invisible
Freakonomics Radio
How To Do Everything
Invisibilia
My Brother, My Brother, and Me
On The Grid
Planet Money
Pop Culture Happy Hour
Radiolab

I like hiphop, so my favourite is Juan Epstein (I know it's not design).

Here are a couple that I listen:
Dorm Room Tycoon (http://drt.fm)
I listen to mix of music and podcasts depending on the task at hand. Here are some of my favourites:
• Giant Bombcast • Idle Thumbs • Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's Film Review • 8-4 Play • The Nerdist • Obligatory This American Life / Radiolab
For the quality of the people interviewed:
Radiolab.
http://hyperglycemiaabout.com/pure-moringa-slim/ Bad foods stick to the walls of the colon. That is a simple truth but many people don't want to talk about. With a consistent increase in colon related health issues like colon cancer, talking about waste and bowel movements is becoming easier and more popular. Colon-cleanse is a simple way to remove that old sludge sticking to colon walls and increase your chances of getting to that joyful point in life where the outside of the body matches the inside.
I highly recommend The Memory Palace if you're a history buff.
TED Radio Hour 99% Invisible Startup Reply All This American Life The Moth Radio Hour APM Marketplace Invisibilia
Design matters Drt A RWD podcast
Thank you for the mention. :)
I really enjoy Reply All. It's a show that highlights the human stories behind different events on the Internet.
I also listen to StartUp. It's produced by the same company as Reply All. It features Alex Blumberg (an ex-producer for NPR.) He basically walks through his struggles to get his podcasting startup off the ground, from coming up with a logo/brand to fundraising. Very fascinating listen.
There's also [Keith and the Girl](www.keithandthegirl.com). It's a comedy podcast based in New York. I've been following the co-hosts for years, so I listen to them because they're hilarious and they feature a lot of up-and-coming comedians.
Idle Thumbs is a must-listen for gamers. The co-hosts are all embedded in the games industry (game designers and one game journo.) Instead of just giving reviews or talking about the mechanics of a game, they actually give meaningful discussions about games. Hilarious and definitely worth a listen.
Invisbilia is NPR's newest podcast. It's about the invisible forces in life that make an impact on us. Their most recent podcast was about the impact of categories on our thoughts. Good stuff.
