I'd argue that wireframes for UIs should never use Lorem Ipsum, or any filler text.

Suggestion to those considering using this font: ignore the Redacted Regular, and consider using Redacted Script when you're trying to get buy-in for page or app structure/hierarchy on wireframes/prototypes for clients who have a hard time not focusing on words.

Yes, using Redacted is not "content-first" as would be more ideal most of the time, but it's been successful the few times I've used it, and has been easier to explain than lorem ipsum to clients who are new to wires (and helps communicate "low fidelity" on digital mocks.)

A warning, though--by final wires, you want to have moved away from Redacted, not only because you should have a modicum of content by then, but also because simple problems like space/shape/size of text can turn into an issue further down the road if you haven't determined a good (estimate) font size and family.

(Note: Yes, the situation this font is good for is not an ideal situation, I agree. But in the vein of "no project is ever perfect...")

Keep your wireframes free of distracting Lorem Ipsum.

I like the idea, but c'mon. How is this not way more distracting.
