Hey all. We're using Mixpanel for our app and as we're getting some great usage data, I realize that I'm a newbie at using it. I'm wondering if any of you have come across good tutorials/guides on how to get the most out of it? Thanks a lot.
We're using Mixpanel at the office and I'm the one who dove in first. I'm far from an expert but am much more comfortable with the product than when I first started.
I started by trying to wrench out the answers to questions, and by trying to find hypothesized patterns, without knowing the right way to do it. That helped me adjust my thinking -- and my questions -- to find an answer informed by Mixpanel.
Also, their support engineers (email@example.com) are incredibly smart and personable. They do a fantastic job at answering questions and helping understand how to use the tool.
One hurdle has been that Mixpanel definitely has a different way of approaching data analysis compared to Google Analytics. It took me a little while to understand how they're different (and I'm still learning).
I just saw this reply. Thanks a lot!
